1. Data controller
The data controller for the VENERYA website and its own processing is the individual identified as the Legal operator in the Service Information panel on this page. Privacy requests can be sent to the support email shown there.
2. Quiz and reading data
VENERYA does not require an account. The current “Does He Like Me?” experience uses seven quiz selections. Those selections may be kept temporarily in browser session storage so the experience can continue after payment.
VENERYA is designed not to create a permanent database record of quiz answers, generated readings, PDFs or share cards. Temporary browser context is removed after successful generation and normally disappears when the browser session ends.
AI generation
To generate the paid reading, VENERYA sends the answer selections needed for the reading to OpenAI. VENERYA does not send a user name, account profile or relationship partner name because those fields are not collected by the current experience. The API request is configured with response storage disabled.
3. Payments and Stripe Managed Payments
Payments are handled through Stripe Managed Payments. For eligible transactions, Stripe acts as merchant of record and handles payment processing, applicable indirect-tax calculation and collection, fraud/dispute handling and transaction-level customer support.
Stripe Checkout may collect information required for payment and tax purposes, including email, billing address, payment-method data, transaction identifiers and fraud-prevention signals. VENERYA does not receive or store your full card number and is designed not to copy Checkout identity/billing data into its own user database.
4. Technical data
Hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical data needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, browser/device information, request paths, diagnostic logs and security signals. VENERYA is hosted on Vercel.
Payment and webhook logs may contain technical transaction identifiers and payment status. They do not contain the quiz answers or generated reading text in VENERYA's Stripe metadata.
5. Why data is processed
- Provide the experience: process selected answers, show the free preview and generate the paid reading.
- Complete payment: create and verify Stripe Checkout transactions and confirm payment status.
- Security and reliability: prevent abuse, diagnose failures and protect the service.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable legal, accounting, payment and consumer-protection obligations.
- Support: respond when a user chooses to contact VENERYA.
Depending on the context, processing is based on performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in securing and operating the service, or consent where specifically required.
6. Service providers
VENERYA currently relies on providers including:
- Vercel — hosting, delivery and technical logs.
- Stripe — Managed Payments, checkout, tax, fraud prevention and transaction support.
- OpenAI — generation of the personalized reading from quiz selections.
These providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards are used by the relevant provider.
7. Cookies and browser storage
VENERYA does not currently use advertising or profiling cookies. Browser session storage is used for temporary quiz continuity around Checkout. Stripe and infrastructure providers may use technologies necessary for payment, fraud prevention, security or service delivery.
If VENERYA later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or profiling technologies, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.
8. Retention
VENERYA does not intentionally maintain a permanent database of quiz answers or readings. Browser-session data is temporary. Technical, security, payment and legally required records may be retained by the relevant provider for the periods required by law or necessary for security, dispute handling and transaction administration.
9. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and, in applicable cases, portability or withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
Because VENERYA deliberately avoids user accounts and permanent reading histories, there may be very little VENERYA-held personal information associated with a visitor.
10. Age and security
Paid VENERYA experiences are intended for users aged 18 or older. VENERYA uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when VENERYA changes its features, providers or data-processing practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
